Anonymous asked: What would you do if you earned a really high salary?

I don’t really have high hopes for ever making a lot of money because that’s just not the field I’m in. Could happen, though, I guess. Here’s what I plan to do: Set a base standard of living for myself, at a pretty low level. Live within the means of an “average” person, no matter how many times my income is above that what is considered “average.” Save some of my income for a rainy day. Divert the rest of my income into capital-building projects that are communally owned and accessible. Tis all I will say for now, but I think if I could convince a lot of high wage earners to live well below their means and use the rest of their income to create infrastructure and pathways to access for the excluded, we could do some pretty cool shit with that.
